G Love

The Sauce is back and better than ever

One of my first shows ever was at the Tower Theater and it was Rusted Root with a then unknown to me opener, G Love & Special Sauce. Their unique sound stuck with me enough that I immediately went out and bought their debut CD, and from there on I was hooked. Well G is back, currently on tour with 311and Something Corporate, and about to sign a new label deal meaning new music is on its way.

I had the extreme pleasure of talking with G before his homecoming show at Penns Landing. Listen* as we talk about digital music, playing Woodstock and Bonnaroo, his Philadelphonic Studio, and more.
